Nirav Khimashia

Nirav Khimashia has deep experience in development of Natural Systems Models.

Within the reinsurance space, Nirav has worked with RMS & JBA Risk, in the development of Catastrophe Models for the APAC Market, and at Willis Re as a Catastrophe Analyst for a variety of Natural Catastrophe Risks within the APAC region. 

Prior to joining the reinsurance industry, Nirav worked at Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (Australia) for 9 years in the development and expansive application of coupled Agriculture-Climate physical models to study and research Crop-Climate system dynamics for emerging new developments, innovations & changes in climate, environmental and human behaviours. 

Nirav has and continues to publish extensively in academic journals dedicated to Natural Systems Modelling & Natural Catastrophes.
